A bit about us
Karine Knox-Humbert
After graduating with honours from the University of Swansea with a Masters in "Translation with Language Technology", Karine gained employment at a major outsourcing company for games as an in-house translator. Following this, she moved to NCsoft Europe to take up the position of French Localisation Manager for Guild Wars. In 2006 she was promoted to Linguistic Manager and managed a team of Linguistic specialists. She was in charge of the translation, proofreading and linguistic QA of Guild Wars, Aion, Tabula Rasa and all other NCsoft titles. In 2009 she founded Wordplay Localisation.
